Principal Product Manager Location: Remote (Mexico) | Type: Contract | Experience: 10 years About the Role You'll lead product strategy and execution for a high-stakes engagement at a crafts-based digital product studio backed by a global strategy consulting parent. The work spans discovery through delivery, with real ownership over what gets built and why. This is a hands-on principal role, not a figurehead one. You'll partner directly with engineering leads, designers, and client stakeholders to shape roadmaps, sharpen requirements, and make the trade-off calls that keep products honest. The studio's clients tend to be large enterprises in financial services, energy, and industrial sectors, so the products have to hold up under real production scrutiny. If you've spent years building enterprise software and you're tired of watching strategy decks float untethered from shipping reality, this role lets you close that gap. What You'll Do Own product direction for a major client engagement, from problem framing through launch and iteration Run discovery with client stakeholders to surface the actual problem, not just the requested feature Translate strategy into a sequenced, defensible roadmap that engineering and design can execute against Write crisp PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that hold up in cross-functional review Partner with engineering leads on technical trade-offs, scope decisions, and release planning Coach less-senior PMs on the team and raise the bar on product craft across the engagement Present recommendations and progress to client executives, including when the news is uncomfortable Keep the product, the team, and the client aligned when priorities shift mid-flight Qualifications 10 years of product management experience, with significant time on enterprise or B2B products Track record of shipping software that real customers used, not just prototypes or pilots Comfort working inside a consulting or studio model where you serve clients while still owning the product Strong technical fluency; you can hold your own with senior engineers without pretending to be one Experience leading discovery, including user research, stakeholder interviews, and requirement synthesis Excellent written communication; your docs do the work so meetings can be shorter Fluent English; client-facing communication is daily Based in Mexico or Brazil, able to work hours that overlap with US business time Why Join Us You'll be working with a tight team that treats product as a craft, not a checklist. The bar for the work is high, the feedback is direct, and the engagements are interesting enough to keep the work feeling fresh. Strategy backing from the parent firm means the studio takes on problems that actually matter to its clients. For a principal PM who wants the influence of senior leadership without the politics of an internal product org, this is a good fit. To apply, click Apply on LinkedIn and visit eliosai.com/browse-jobs
